Spur Cross Cycles is a bike rental company located in the heart of Cave Creek, Arizona. We serve the cycling communities of Cave Creek, Carefree, Scottsdale, North Phoenix and Anthem with 20 years of local riding knowledge. Spur Cross Cycles rents town, road and mountain bicycles at half and full-day rates with discounts for longer rental periods.
We are conveniently located so that you can bike right from our shop to the “CCBF Loop” which is the route of Cave Creek’s annual bicycle festival race/ride. A short 30 minute drive away and you can intercept the acclaimed Black Canyon Trail, a 79 mile epic ride from the Sonoran Desert to the high grasslands of Prescott Valley. We also have great road biking in the area with relatively low traffic, decent grades and spectacular views. For extended rental periods or groups, we can often make local delivery available. We can help you put a ride together for any skill level and interest with the use of our library of maps.
Every bike we rent comes with a quality Giro helmet included – we think its criminal that some agencies would charge extra for such an essential safety item. Our bikes are expertly maintained and checked over every time they leave our shop by a qualified mechanic. We will rent you only a properly sized bicycle and make the necessary fitting adjustments to ensure you have the most comfortable and safe ride possible.
